
April 30 COVID-19 Update: 32 new cases, 114 active
Joshua Swift, Forsyth County’s Public Health Director released the latest number of cases of COVID-19 in the county.

The total number of cases is up 32 from the previous day to 114 active bringing the total confirmed cases in the county to 242. Of those cases 123 have recovered.
According to a post on the City of Winston-Salem Facebook page:
The cases that are related to the Tyson Facility in Wilkes County are Forsyth County residents, and the majority of new cases since April 27th are related to Tyson. The case count is subject to change throughout the day but will only be reported once per day in the daily briefing.
