WSTA announces further changes to services

The Winston-Salem Transit Authority (WSTA) announced that effective Wednesday, April 15th, 2020 until further notice that all fixed route and paratransit services will be free.

In addition, all routes will be running on Level 1 service, which is their Saturday schedule.

A 15-passenger limit is in effect on all vehicles. If a bus is at its limit when additional passengers are encountered another bus will be dispatched to that stop.

Boarding and exiting the bus will be done using the rear door unless the rider needs assistance by using the ramp or the “kneeling” function.

The following routes have been suspended until further notice:

83 Express, 88, 95, 98, 99, 100, 102 and 110.

The Ardmore neighborhood is serviced by bus routes 80, 103 and 107.
