Hello, Ardmore!

This site was thrown together in about 3 hours. It probably shows.

The reason it was is because the COVID-19 virus has impacted all of us. It is truly an experience shared by people all around the globe.

While we have little control over the virus we can take control over our neighborhood. And yes, while Facebook and NextDoor groups exist the drama and barriers to entry into them have turned a lot of people away.

This site has been (hastily) created to help bring everyone together. We are starting by listing businesses in and around the neighborhood and downtown to help them get their information out as well as help our neighbors.

The forums have been created to help facilitate discussion among neighbors.

A little history: the original intent of this site was to be a hyperlocal news site for Ardmore only. With the COVID-19 virus I decided to accelerate its development and make it something useful for the community.

So please take advantage of it. Use it. For free. Without Facebook or NextDoor collecting and selling your data.

And if you encounter any problems please let us know.

We will be adding more in the future. But for now, please enjoy these 3 hours of work.
